About us
Circular Solutions is an Australian engineering and project delivery company specialising in remote and hybrid renewable energy systems — solar PV, battery storage, microgrids, and diesel integration. We work across the NT, WA, QLD, and NSW, predominantly in remote and regional communities. We're a small, experienced team. Everyone carries real responsibility.
The role
We're looking for a Project Manager to lead delivery across all Circular Solutions projects. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants from award through to close-out. The two projects demanding most of your immediate attention are a 9 MWp solar / BESS system on Groote Eylandt (NT) and a hybrid renewable energy system at Borroloola (NT), with several other active projects running concurrently.
You'll be supported by a full-time contracts administrator.
What you'll do
Manage project scope, program, budget, and quality across the portfolio
Lead contractor and supplier engagement — scope, contracts, progress, variations, and payment
Own client communications and reporting
Manage project OHSE and ensure compliance with site safety plans
Travel to site for project mobilisation, key milestones, and close-out
Provide on-site support during commissioning or when site resource gaps arise
Contribute to business improvement — systems, processes, and procedures
Support tendering and quoting as required
What we're looking for
Minimum 10 years' experience in project management, with a track record in construction or engineering
Experience in the renewable energy or resources sector strongly preferred — remote and off-grid project experience highly regarded
Electrical trade background highly desirable
CEC accreditation (solar, battery, off-grid) desirable but not required
Demonstrated ability to manage contractors and suppliers on remote sites
Strong commercial acumen — you understand contracts and manage to them
High level of personal organisation and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams
Valid driver's licence and Construction White Card
Willingness to travel nationally; potential for international project work over time

Pay: $91,725.79 – $238,976.76 per year
